I'm walking every street in New York City.
This is the counterpoint to my walk across the US. Instead of seeing a million places for just a minute each, I'm going to spend a million minutes exploring just one place. By the time I finish walking every block of every street in all five boroughs, I'll have traveled more than 8,000 miles on foot — all within a single city. Details!

Actually the railroad as described there did collapse…. It’s now part of the regular NYNHHR service that is a part of Metronorth. Interestingly enough service has flourished enough to revive the original service if it were possible.
Not surprisingly enough I first encountered your site during part of your travels across country. (This one.) I hope you are enjoying your travels through all of NYC. It was on my ISP home page, which is still AT&T.
