Rent out a backyard? That’s one of the most ridiculous things I’ve ever heard of. Unless it’s like renting out pavilion space in some parks. This must not be attached to any of the apartment buildings around there then? Just crazy to me.
I keep going back and forth about this place. It definitely seems ridiculous to pay money to hang out in a vacant lot. But, on the other hand, the rental does include grilling equipment and seating, so it would be a pretty affordable way for an apartment dweller to throw a barbecue party — $5 per head plus food and drinks for a two-hour, 40-person cookout.
