  1. Dionne says:

the wheat fields waving—hope no dust clouds rolling :) i spent 4 years living in Moscow ID just south of where you are. great area and those rolling hills just keep on rolling!!! the appallousa horse originated in the area of the pallouse prairies-just a tidbit of trivia to start your day off right :)

  2. katzien in austin says:

Neato Dionne! I see a little mountain peeking over the hills. Georgous day!

    • katzien in austin says:

As in George…..Washington. No really, that was just a typo and I’m trying to be smooth about it. heehee

      • deanna valenti meyer says:

Now, what’s funny Katzien…is that there actually IS a George, Washington. It’s a town in the lower, eastern part of WA…although I’m not sure if Matt will get through there or not. I’d have to check the map. The Dave Matthews Band play there every year. What a kick to have your town named George AND be in Washington. Hee hee!

        So…in essence….it was a good typo. :)

        • Jeff says:

now you got me thinking of all those pennsylvania towns with funny names that I can post here…..George, Washington Funny but true.

        • Monica says:

George is much farther north than where Matt is traveling. And the venue you mentioned is called The Gorge at George. It’s a fantastic place to see a concert…been there many times myself.

  3. RAYMOND in ALABAMA says:

WAS IT INDIANS WHO STARTED THE PALLOUSE BREED BY MIXING MUSTANG AND SOMETHING ELSE IN THIS AREA, I REMEMBER READING ABOUT THIS SOMEWHERE. WHAT TRIBE WAS IT. MATT HAS THE BUGGY HELD UP ,HAVE YOU CHANGED ANY WHEELS OR BEARINGS YET. I REMEMBER WHEN YOU WERE TRAING TO ATART THIS WALK READING ABOUT YOU TRYING DIFFERENT TYPES TO FIND ONE THAT WOULD HOLD UP. MAN WHAT PRETTY COUNTRY.

  4. charlie says:

how confusing it might get if your name was george washington and you lived in george, washington…..

  5. deb says:

Ohhh…the cart looks lonely sitting there in those wide-open spaces. I hope Matt isn’t getting too lonesome on this leg of the trip.

  6. Candice In Alabama says:

This makes me think of Southern California’s golden hills. Beautiful. The soil on the left sure looks rich.

  7. Gigi says:

A different landscape, indeed, but no less beautiful than the previous ones you’ve shared.

  8. MN Roxanne says:

    Love the wheat fields…..

  9. Old Hippie says:

    Looks large and lonely.

Wonder if the wheels on the baby carriage are solid or pneumatic. Gotstabehardonthemwheels.

  10. Tna says:

Two roads diverged in a wood, and I,
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.

    mr frosty

  11. Karen Too says:

The richness of it all is so compelling, as usual, and now new colors, textures, vistas. Luscious.

(Not trying to start anything here, but some might check out etiquette of typing in all caps, as it’s considered yelling.)

  12. phyllis says:

does anyone know the whole poem? two roads diverged in a yellow wood, Robert Frost
and sorry i could not travel both.
and looked down one as far as i could
to where it bent in the undergrowth.

  13. phyllis says:

that didn’t pop up there right!!!! lol

  14. Big Scott says:

Lots of Quakers out there Fine people!!
