Ah! Right. And he would say “happy little accidents.” Did you know you can buy his painting kits at craft stores now? Comes with a dvd too so you can follow along!
A shadow of a man. But alas it’s Matt Green the walkin’ man from NYC. Really neat “mistake” photo there. You caught the bic lighter there in the pic. You have a thing for road junk remember? We haven’t seen any in a while. This little guy wanted to get in the picture too.
Actually, this will be a good remembrance shot for you … despite all the wonderful views and vistas and interesting objects you’ve shared with us, you’ve probably spent more overall time looking at something just like this during your trip. Although etched into your subconscious you now have this to chronicle the memory.
I know you are getting close but you need to curb your excitement about finishing 4 months early. Calm down and think about what you have just put the Hobo Planet through-over 300 posts for one photo on the blog and it was about concern for your safety! I mean you were walking in circles based on some comments and I was afraid one of the wheels for the mattmobile had fallen off and you were going in circles. Thank goodness your and the Mattmobile are safe!
That's the idea, at least. I'm walking westward from New York City for nine months or so.
If everything goes according to plan, I'll be in Oregon when the clock runs out.
If nothing goes according to plan, maybe I'll end up in Peru or Mongolia or Pennsylvania.
You can read all about the details of my trip
if you're so inclined.
A shadow of our favorite hobo! Good one Matt!
A lovely picture of a Bic Lighter.
Happy accidents…as Bob Rossi would say. ;-)

He was clicking his Bic.
A favorite hobo shadow, bic lighter, some pebbles….. great photo!!
some white line, some ants…some son….no tinkerbell though!
Why did the lighter cross the road? Coz a but was on the other side.
hahaha!! You’re cracking me up Christopher. :)

It is good to have a pic of the road surface.
I don’t see your thumb in this one.
Something tells me this has been a familiar sight for Matt over the last few months.

You really captured the essence of the rare, purple bic mini lighter in it’s natural surroundings…
Matt

The “Road Matt Traveled”.
That lighter is my favorite color!
