The House of Many Materials

I'm walking across America.
That's the idea, at least. I'm walking westward from New York City for nine months or so. If everything goes according to plan, I'll be in Oregon when the clock runs out. If nothing goes according to plan, maybe I'll end up in Peru or Mongolia or Pennsylvania. You can read all about the details of my trip if you're so inclined.

and yet no solar!?!? With all your experience of helping to prepare a roof for solar, you should have offered! :p
This is very near my dad’s place. I think the original owner died several years ago. The person who bought it planned an extensive remodel. He had the entire house jacked up and turned 180 degrees and built a new foundation. I forget what took place next but that person I think ran out of money or maybe died? The old log structure under the aluminum siding is pretty amazing though.
