I've seen quite a few of these engraved stone plaques in people's front yards over the past couple of days. It makes good economic sense when you consider they can be reused as headstones a few decades down the road.
That's the idea, at least. I'm walking westward from New York City for nine months or so.
If everything goes according to plan, I'll be in Oregon when the clock runs out.
If nothing goes according to plan, maybe I'll end up in Peru or Mongolia or Pennsylvania.
You can read all about the details of my trip
if you're so inclined.
I hope you rolled a stone next to it inscribed with: “mis-place they’re apostrophe’s'”
I love the gramar police!
The grammar police should check their own grammar. It is “their” not “they’re”.
Mom is the one who loves the grammar police, not Dad.
Who says there isn’t just one Hanlon, and (s)he owns the place?
Or just the stone.
I LOVE ALL OF YOU.
That apostrophe was my first thought also. Haha! I’m glad to know there are others still out there that noticed the same. Thinking about you Mattchew!
