Earlier this afternoon I passed through a work zone and met Heather, who was very excited about my trip. Later on, she went out and got me dinner, and she and Jeff found me on the road and brought it to me.

I'm walking across America.
That's the idea, at least. I'm walking westward from New York City for nine months or so. If everything goes according to plan, I'll be in Oregon when the clock runs out. If nothing goes according to plan, maybe I'll end up in Peru or Mongolia or Pennsylvania. You can read all about the details of my trip if you're so inclined.

I got a sammich wrap, a Snickers bar, some sunflower seeds, and a Gatorade.
April 15 seems to be your biggest day yet for pictures. Why?? [a] You’re getting bored. [b] Western Pennsylvania is the scenic part of the state. [c] You just realized that your camera is digital and you won’t have to find a drug store to buy new film. Remember: you may not have wasted any trees, but you certainly are inconveniencing a lot of electrons.
