I’m sorry to say that this very pretty plant is probably pink tatarian honeysuckle (Lonicera tatarica), a non-native that is invasive in Ohio (and probanly Indiana).
Look for them in Minnesota, Matt. I have a yellow one and a pink one in my yard. Apparently, they are not invasive here in the north. Hmmm… I don’t think they sell these in the garden centers though, so perhaps a wild cultivar. IDK, haven’t looked it up.

That's the idea, at least. I'm walking westward from New York City for nine months or so.
If everything goes according to plan, I'll be in Oregon when the clock runs out.
If nothing goes according to plan, maybe I'll end up in Peru or Mongolia or Pennsylvania.

There are several pink vining honeysuckles, but this one looks shrubby. Was it wild or in a cultivated area?
It was indeed shrubby, and it was wild. I saw several like it today.

Well, next time I see one I’ll let it know its kind isn’t welcome around here.
