Merrie spotted me at a crosswalk on the outskirts of Nappanee, IN. She grabbed her camera and ran over to do a quick interview for the local paper. As I was heading through town a little while later she popped out of a building with the mayor, Larry Thompson, and snapped a photo of the two of us. He looks right at home behind the wheel, doesn't he? If things go downhill politically, Larry, you're welcome to come join me on the road!

Totally unrelated to the other comments here, but how long are you planning on airing out those socks?
(I began reading this blog from the start on May 28th, which is when I first heard about it.
Not long from now, I noticed another “Karen,” so I added the word “Too” to my name. Now, I’m going back to add a note about this to my early posts as just Karen, so everyone will know theses are from me, Karen Too.
Silly, perhaps, but thought people should be able to tell the difference as the other Karen was here first.)
