Water poured out of this pipe, coming out of the wall of the Allstate building in Wheeling, into the parking lot.

    They have autoflushing toilets, every 2 minutes. You’re just lucky you didn’t see something else.

    It’s the hydrant flushing, obviously.

    i’m guessing that’s a line from a sump pump in the basement – but I’m not a plumber

    How bizarre! And what an unfortunate waste of water. :(

    it’s just a sump pump outlet. ground water collects in a pit and a pump sends it back outside to the surface so the basement does not flood.
