Day 100
Four bears
July 4th, 2010
I'm walking across America.
That's the idea, at least. I'm walking westward from New York City for nine months or so. If everything goes according to plan, I'll be in Oregon when the clock runs out. If nothing goes according to plan, maybe I'll end up in Peru or Mongolia or Pennsylvania. You can read all about the details of my trip if you're so inclined.

Here's my progress so far:
Four bears ranch…will he stay here tonight? Return tomorrow and find out.
I see the fourth bear….always one rowdy one in the crowd. I think I see livestock at 2 o’clock…are they staring at you? They always are. Almost perfect framing of the clowd in the “beary gates”. Note to self: lots of dirt out west isn’t there. One foot ahead…tomorrow is 101.
Would that be “Walking 101”? Or more specifically “Montana Walking 101”.
Dorinda: if you can keep a secret I am hoping we see a picture of a Dalmation today (july 5th) …day 101
But if not….I will settle for “walking 101”, given in Monatana Hall by Professor Matt Green.

Fourscore and seven years ago, our fourbears brought forth, on this continent, a new nation…threebears just wouldn’t’ve worked.
Lets hope these are the only bears you encounter.
