Free Gayle?

I'm walking across America.
That's the idea, at least. I'm walking westward from New York City for nine months or so. If everything goes according to plan, I'll be in Oregon when the clock runs out. If nothing goes according to plan, maybe I'll end up in Peru or Mongolia or Pennsylvania. You can read all about the details of my trip if you're so inclined.

Ah! So “Free Gayle” is a mandate to free the former mayor from incarceration for lascivious activities which took place in his bar. Apparently, the police found used condoms and wrappers in this establishment…Great Falls of fire, that’s just shocking!

If you put a common in there, it would read “Free, Gayle” implying that the way to avoid prostitution charges is to make certain human resources free, Gayle. But then again that would be exploitation of a different kind, wouldn’t it?

This all started back at the costume shop. I’m tellin’ ya, Matt had a Bud/Clamato and he’s gonna stagger the rest of the way to Oregon. tsk tsk
I’m more curious to know what that saddle at the bottom is attached to?
It looks like a poker.. and then there’s a baseball cap above it… But it could be a helmet and the poker a riding crop ? Maybe they covered up an old sign for a saddle club or something ?

I was guessing the Gayle was another one of those political prisoners in Canada. Good to see that he wasn’t!
I figure if Gayle is free and she’s nude it’s best to keep your distance.

Wow. It took someone from out of town to actually make me think of “free gayle.” I drive past this thing every day and I finally relized that Gayle is or was like a comissoner or something here in GF that went to jail for prostution out of Really Windys…

Gayle is Gayle M_rr_s who was the Mayor of our fine town a few years ago. He got off on a DUI charge a while ago because he claimed that he was unable to walk a straight line in cowboy boots. This time though he gets to go to jail because his establishment, and some of the “ladies” that worked there, were offering services that had nothing to do with walking.
Montana shares with the rest of the country such people as the Unabomber, freemen, and Gayle Mo__is.
