People often ask me how much my cart weighs fully loaded, but I don't know. I've never had a good opportunity to weigh it. I thought today might be my lucky day, but the cart (plus me standing next to it) was too light to register on this truck scale.
Therefore, all we can conclude is:
CartWeight < (TruckWeight - MattWeight)
I’m thinking there’s a lot of “muscle” weight behind that cart weight….
You’re doing a great job pushing it along and don’t worry about MattWeight!!
I wonder if when Matt gets to really steep hills, it might be easier to pull the cart instead of pushing it. It will seem much heavier.
Funny Matt. At least you tried.
It weighs enough that you can push it, guess that is all that matters. Keep on truckin’
Matt – does the cart feel heavier now than when you first started pushing it (at the beginning of your trek)?
Did you lose some weight from all the walking Matt?
Can I weigh in on the situation? Matt…say about 168 (just eye-balling)…cart-5-10#, water 8#/gallon…tent and clothes odd foot. Bear spray..Plunger stick, less plunger, special tokens…shovel, ..I am going with 75 pounds. – but it all depends on how much water he is carrying. Step on the scale matt…..
Weigh to go Matt!
At the Minnesota State Fair…that “Great Minnesota Get Together”…(and I’m going to miss it again this year)…there is a truck scale in the Education Building…thousands try it every year…must be rated from “0” up…go figure…
Matt, you let me push your cart once, and I can testify it’s not light. The fixed front wheel makes it easy to push in a straight line, but I would’ve opted for one that swivels
Matt
I would think you have walked so much that your weight has SCALED BACK to a point where you would not want this to be PUBLIC. WEIGHT until you get to the finish and try again.
Weight, weight…you guys are killing me! And only a guy would ever attempt to have his poundage be a public number. Ba ha ha ha!!!
Well Our Matt, it may not be conclusive but it’s a start.
