I don’t watch a lot of TV, but I like Cake Boss as well. I just have to catch it on one of the rare nights I am channel surfing. Buddy – another reason to visit NY! (one of these days).
Yes, I’d love to go to Carlo’s bakery and meet Buddy and the family. And eat some of their delicious pastries, cakes, etc. I would love to get a piece of that Cream puff cake they do-his dad’s old recipe cake. THAT look soooooo good!
Oh! Claustrophobic to me! Hard to look at it for me because of that. But, once again our favorite hobo Matt is under the bridge where all good hobos go eh?
They kinda had the same problem here building the freeway as they did with the roads, etc. in Burke Canyon. Wallace is in a narrow valley, and if they didn’t construct it like this it would have torn up half the picturesque, historic town.
Here in California, earthquake safety is definitely a concern, but I would reckon that there’s not many earthquakes in Wallace (I was in the SF Bay Area in 1989 when the freeway collapsed… )
When you are supposedly the Center of the Universe you can declare all buildings in your town historic and save them from the tar and concrete paving road builders. Good thinking on the part of the citizens to save their town from destruction.
That's the idea, at least. I'm walking westward from New York City for nine months or so.
If everything goes according to plan, I'll be in Oregon when the clock runs out.
If nothing goes according to plan, maybe I'll end up in Peru or Mongolia or Pennsylvania.
You can read all about the details of my trip
if you're so inclined.
Am I your only follower with an internet connection tonight? I’m feeling like a hog! Oh well. This looks to be sort of oppressing.
I was busy watching Monday Night Raw and then The Real Housewives of New Jersey.
Oh and Cake Boss too. Makes me want cake every Monday night when I watch it.

:)
Did you run while pushing your cart on this smooth and car-less freeway?
I bet the noise overhead was echoing down there…
Oh I can imagine. Depending on how much traffic they get out there it could be bad. Looks like a nice path though.

Under this, I’m afraid all I’d be thinking about is EARTHQUAKE and PANCAKE! SPLAT!
Yes I agree!

Nice. I bet skateboarders would have a field day with the help of some police barracades.
The ‘hacking” of landmark status (to one up the feds, no less) is hilarious!
Hey, you gotta do what you gotta do!
