Another self-portrait
August 8th, 2010
I'm walking across America.
That's the idea, at least. I'm walking westward from New York City for nine months or so. If everything goes according to plan, I'll be in Oregon when the clock runs out. If nothing goes according to plan, maybe I'll end up in Peru or Mongolia or Pennsylvania. You can read all about the details of my trip if you're so inclined.

If you happen to see in the clouds letters the shape of “G” and “P”…it doesn’t mean “Go Preach”…it means “Go Plow”…lots of people have made that mistake…in your case, Matt…it means “Go Push”…(ahh, the Mattmobile, that is)…(I just try to be of help)…I know…try not to help so much…whimper, whimper…
Does anybody know how much a Mattmobile costs? I’ve been thinking about emailing that company.

Yes- Happy birthday to Mom. You have raised a wonderful son! I am sure you and Dad are proud of your Matt. Did you think he would become a HOBO after graduating from college? I will bet his college transcript shows he took HOBO 101, 102 and 103. How else would he have learned to make a trek by foot across this great land at this pace?

Who is the shady charater following you. You need to get the plunger handle out and wallop him. This is to much for you to have to carry.

I love Pilobolous – thanks Don for sharing! They are really an incredible dance group and I am fortunate that I have seen them in person a couple of times – I really recommend them.

One of my favorites so far! So cool! I did the same thing once with my own shadow making a peace sign and then an Okay sign.
