I'm walking every street in New York City.
This is the counterpoint to
my walk across the US. Instead of seeing a million places for just a minute each, I'm going to spend a million minutes exploring just one place. By the time I finish walking every block of every street in all five boroughs, I'll have traveled more than 8,000 miles on foot — all within a single city.

Your donations allow me to keep walking full-time. If you think what I'm doing is valuable and you'd like to offer some support, I would be very grateful. On the other hand, if you think I'm a worthless bum, feel free to email me and tell me to get a job, bozo. Both are excellent options!
I just learned about you yesterday, through an interview I watched with Jesse Eisenberg — WOW. I immediately watched the documentary. I’m old enough to have gone to the 64 World’s Fair, and lived in the projects just below Ft Tryon Park. I burst into tears seeing this photo. GOOD tears. I’ve started writing about my growing up for my daughter so I was in the middle of nostalgic journeys in my head (I grew up in NY, NJ and all over the UK) and I remembered so vividly climbing these steps with my dad following behind me, carrying my little red bicycle with training wheels. I must have been 6 years old. I live in New Mexico now, but my daughter and I are planning a trip to NY in the Spring so I can revisit these places. Thank you for doing what you do. You are so inspiring.
