This is the counterpoint to my walk across the US. Instead of seeing a million places for just a minute each, I'm going to spend a million minutes exploring just one place. By the time I finish walking every block of every street in all five boroughs, I'll have traveled more than 8,000 miles on foot — all within a single city. Details!

Hi Matt! On Day 497 back in 2013 you walked very close to where I grew up – Bellerose Village (Nassau Cty), NY – literally just outside your project! These days I’m President of a walking club in Florida and part of “America’s Walking Club” – the AVA. The “V” is for Volksmarching, or volkssporting – a particular kind of walking (along with other non-competitive sports) we promote. We need to get you to come and speak at our biennial convention coming up in June, 2019 in Albany.
