  1. Angela says:

As I’m reading your blog, I’m hoping that you don’t suffer from seasonal allergies – they are horrible in the northeast right now!

  2. Barbara Kiviat says:

    Brilliant.

  3. Thomas says:

Hmmmm, we have signs like that in a building I work in sometimes … “Corridor” “Closet” “Mechanical Room” “Elevator” … every single door is marked.

Of course, we are assuming it is a descriptive sign. Maybe the farm is owned by a family named Horse, or maybe they have a prize bull named Horse in that pasture. Or a horse named Horse, of course.

  4. Carey says:

The horse is right there! Watching you!

  5. Thomas says:

Yeah, I missed that subtle horse-head peeking out when I posted previously. Nice touch, Matt.

    • Danna says:

AH! SO THAT’S WHAT THAT IS! Looked like a dog sitting on its haunches to me…I was so confused!

  6. Josh says:

I actually misread the caption with the link to the previous post “With their sweet, tangy flesh”.

  7. Caroline says:

I know I’m predictable, but I’m going to say it anyway: that horse is damn cute.

  8. Stephen says:

Not only can that horse hardly talk… it can hardly spell. It’s H-O-A-R-S-E.

  9. Barb V says:

    Maybe it’s a preschool for future equestrians. “This a horse, and this is how you spell ‘horse’. H – O – R – S – E. Horse.”
