I’m from southern WI and currently live in CA, this almost makes me cry with happiness, I miss home so much. I hope the midwest makes you feel welcome.

That is just so Wisconsin! HA! I grew up in Wisconsin (my family still lives there) and my mom TOTALLY says that too! (I’ve caught myself saying it a few times, even though I’ve been in Cali for almost 15 years….)
