Stealing signs is actually sort of a past time for bored rural Midwestern teenagers (that and drive-by smashing mailboxes with baseball bats). I grew up on a farm in Illinois and we’d find signs people had stolen all the time in our creek. Why you would steal a sign and then throw it off a bridge in the middle of nowhere is beyond me, but we had dozens of them!
That's the idea, at least. I'm walking westward from New York City for nine months or so.
If everything goes according to plan, I'll be in Oregon when the clock runs out.
If nothing goes according to plan, maybe I'll end up in Peru or Mongolia or Pennsylvania.

My first car was a rusty Jeep Wrangler that had a stop sign welded into the passenger side floor board to cover a massive hole.
