A Mighty Wind

I'm walking across America.
That's the idea, at least. I'm walking westward from New York City for nine months or so. If everything goes according to plan, I'll be in Oregon when the clock runs out. If nothing goes according to plan, maybe I'll end up in Peru or Mongolia or Pennsylvania. You can read all about the details of my trip if you're so inclined.

Clearly there is a vortex at work here, supernatural forces are pushing the trees away from a soon to emerge singularity.
Better keep moving.
You can see similar in parts of Texas as well (saw them on a vehicle road trip several years ago – can’t remember the part of Texas – but I can say WEST Texas). Along a particular section of highway – all the trees were shaped by the wind into a leaning position.
I agree it may be a vortex! We have one North of where you are going to be this week, but the grounds are amazing and open to the public, everything from spiritual meditation to visiting the house that is all wharped up!
