Wow. That’s one massive stump. Wonder what kind of tree it was. And why was it donated and for what? What’s it’s purpose other than it’s huge? Or is that it, it’s huge?
This area features petrified wood, dinosaur fossils, and the most recent rejuvenated interest: oil. Dickinson has a very nice dinosaur museum (http://www.panoramio.com/photo/30428397) and a petrified wood park (http://www.panoramio.com/photo/25998975). The massive stump in Matt’s picture is just the centerpiece in a small park in the business area of “downtown”.
That's the idea, at least. I'm walking westward from New York City for nine months or so.
If everything goes according to plan, I'll be in Oregon when the clock runs out.
If nothing goes according to plan, maybe I'll end up in Peru or Mongolia or Pennsylvania.
You can read all about the details of my trip
if you're so inclined.
These people STUMPED the IRS on this one. If the IRS questioned this one they would be barking up the wrong tree!!!
I’m petrified to hear what else you have to say, Don!
apparently it was an axe write-off as well..
I’m trying to think of something clever to say….but I’m stumped.
Since it was donated by Garfield…..is realy a petrified tree stump? Maybe Petrified Poo!!
Or Lasagna.
USC has something similar: http://www.usc.edu/uscnews/stories/12601.html
