I'm walking across America.
That's the idea, at least. I'm walking westward from New York City for nine months or so.
If everything goes according to plan, I'll be in Oregon when the clock runs out.
If nothing goes according to plan, maybe I'll end up in Peru or Mongolia or Pennsylvania.

Here's my progress so far:
Whoever said a dog can’t smile? Our old lab had a grin just like that!
MAN’S BEST FRIEND – regardless of where you live! These look like happy well loved dogs!
I hate to see animals left in vehicles….but at least the window is all the way down.
Happy Fourth Matt, and happy 100th day on the road! I hope some kind people invite you to join them in their celebration today/tonight.
Love the happy pups, too. A sweet morning greeting in their smiles.
Congrats, too, on crossing another state, starting a new one. Three milestones in one day. Not bad!
Happy Fourth to everyone else here, too.
Cats rool dogs drool! That is what the wife says. I toast you my friends..Happy 4th.
Awwwwwwwwwwww, I love those doggies. Happy 4th of July Matt. Glsd to see you made it through N.D.
How cute and happy! I read your captions and couldn’t figure out where the other dog was for several minutes! Took me a while to see his buddy down in the corner. Good happy dogs living out on the range. A good dogs life as it should be, no foofy stuff dressing dogs like children. This is what a dog is meant to be, a dog. Happy and free. Happy 4th of July doggies! (and everyone else too!).
Did you talk to their owner and find out their names?
Thanks for the laugh Dorinda..it took me a few moments two…The yellow one is so big and out there..you miss the second one till he/she stands out on her own.
Thank you for sharing this photo… It has been a while since I have seen a Blue Healer… They are beautiful
This dog is smiling Big Time!! He even has dimples!!! What a ham!
I check this site every day, thank you for bringing us all on this amazing journey.
From a happy dog owner.
Oh Happy Dog(s).
I see a Happy Dog’s Tail in the Side “REAR” view mirror!
AWWWW-FRIENDLY FACES, FURRY TOO!
They are posing for your picture! How adorable!
Ya know, the keys are in that vehicle too. Common practice. “Never know when someone might need my vehicle to save a life–could be mine their savin’ “
