    You read my/our minds, Matt!

    • Karen Too says:

I can see the sign on the brewery; it’s open from 4-8 p.m., Thursdays-Sundays.

Too bad, but maybe you’ll run into another brewery along the way that’s open for business.

How’s Montana treating you so far, Matt? Have any wild animals visited you while camping out? You know how curious they are about you!

  2. Jeff says:

Well then, Stop, park your cart and wait for it to open. You deserve a tall, cccccold frothy one right about now.
    I said to myself..yea he got a beer…then I read the caption…waaa waaaa waaaaa…..

Karen too: Why does matt only find inanimate animals? And when he finds the real ones…they stare @ him like a alien….Hmmm….I am pondering….. CHEERS Matt…..more bars ahead…and some nice family is ready to share some beer with you…..I just got a feeling….Peace

    • Karen Too says:

The inanimate ones stare at him, too. Remember the picture of the group by someone’s mailbox?

From the start, I noticed that anything and everything animal finds Matt a curiosity. It’s hilarious.

Thought the same thing, too, about him waiting for the brewery to open. Bet you’re right about someone sharing a beer with him real soon.

  3. Chaser1 says:

the shamrock dance club is behind there! i love that place. they filmed “knock around guys” there.

  4. Jeff says:

ohh…Message out to Don….Yea I know I said two states ahead…..I was not counting Montana since he was there….I was thinking …Montana then down through the “spud” state then on to the finish line in Oregon. Did I miss one…? Peace and nice walking ya too…

    • Don in Tennessee says:

      Jeff-

Good to hear from you. According to the detailed map Matt has on his site he will go from Montana to Idaho (SPUD STATE), to Washington (home of the Huskies), and then Oregon (home of the Ducks).

  5. kristin says:

too bad!! that brewery has some goooood beer! and that shamrock place in the background has some goooood food!! when you get to glendive watch out for the dinosaur museum, it’s decieving…

  6. Barb C. says:

Checked out the web site that Karen too listed. After the Huckleberry Beer I doubt if I could get my son-in-law to try this place!!!!! That was 4 yrs. ago and he’s still making comments about it!!!!!

  7. Jim in AR via MN says:

And for us teetotalers…it looks like their root beer…over two scoops of Wilcoxsons ice cream…now that wouldn’t be bad on a hot afternoon…

  8. Don in Tennessee says:

    Matt

If you look at this website I believe you missed a good place to kick back and enjoy good wholesome people. I believe this place rocks from this article.

Don’t want to get you of your focus so I will again drink a Yuengling or 2 in yuor honor tonight and pray that you continue to stay safe and meet great warm hearted people.!

    • Jim in AR via MN says:

Great article…love those kind of upbeat stories…

    • Karen Too says:

Here, here, Don! Toasting Matt with a cold one, and on a very hot day, is good idea. Cheers to us all.

Great link; there are some fun pictures on the one I posted, but this one gets down to brass tacks about the actual experience one can have at the brewery.

    • Don in Tennessee says:

      Jim & Karen

I have either already overloaded on Yeungling or my spell check is broken. I think I will blame it on eyes of a 60 year old who is wishing he could be with Matt Hobo Green. Should have been (off) not (of) and (your) not (yuor). For some people it would be yuens!

I would love to spend a night in this place with the HOBO NATION. We could have a blast!!!

      • Candice in Alabama says:

Don – Try Mozilla Firefox browser – it spell checks as you type! :)

      • Karen Too says:

No worries, Don. I’m dyslexic, so I can automatically translate.

If you are using a Mac, press/hold the Apple and shift keys, and then press the semi-colon key. This brings up a spell check system.

Agreed; it would be great fun to hang out at this brewery with everyone here.

  9. Laurenis says:

When I look at this pic, I expect tumble weed…and all the doors/shutters to be closed, two cowboys standing face to face, 50 feet apart, read to draw their guns….
