I don’t know what the artist is trying to say. It might be wise if you stuck to bottled water and pre-packaged foods in this part of Montana. No well water, nothing home made.
Creative I say so. the horse is on two leggs…That is cool looking. I wouldn’t mind it in my front yard, my neighbors might..but not me. I suppose it might be called….Ol’ cowboy and his faithful horse rusty!! Seriously though.
I’ll bet he has been standing like this for years. If so, he probably would be a little RUSTY shooting the gun! MAN, what you get to see when you walk instead of traveling interstate highways!
Neat! Would fit in quite nicely down here in Texas! I had to do a double take though – the horses hind legs are facing the wrong way! LOL! The hocks should be pointing towards the back of the animal! Hehehe!
That barrel-chested guy does look a little like Teddy, but the star over his heart makes me think it’s a lawman. His trusty horse is rearing to go; his guns are ready. That rusty chain around his neck will soon be around some bad guy.
And the steely resolve in his eyes belies his otherwise peaceful nature, hence the recently vacated rocking chair. I’m thinking there probably was an ancestor lawman, and that somewhere there is a wooden rockery by someone’s hearth. Hats off to all who made the frontier a fit place to live.
Marvelous article! One man’s rusty corrugated pipe… | I'm Just Walkin' seriously tends to make my week a little happier :D Continue with the magnificent posts! Thank you, A good
That's the idea, at least. I'm walking westward from New York City for nine months or so.
If everything goes according to plan, I'll be in Oregon when the clock runs out.
If nothing goes according to plan, maybe I'll end up in Peru or Mongolia or Pennsylvania.
You can read all about the details of my trip
if you're so inclined.

It’s obviously a cowboy, his horse, and a rocking chair. You can see the sidearm on the cowboy, and the rifle in the other hand.
The media used may not be the most attractive, but you have to give the artist credit for creativity, and resourcefulness. Love the old rocker, too.
Very funny, scott mac. Agreed it’s unclear as to what the artist is saying. It does look, too, as if he’s offering a seat to his horse.

Sort of cool. Creative.

Thanks Hobo Matt
The cowboy wants to rest a bit, but his horse says “Nay! Take me riding!” Ba ha ha ha!
I’m liking that interpretation, katzien!
Walk softly and carry a big…pipe.
Too Freakin’ COOL!
cowboy: come sit here pony…
pony: no way!
cowboy: sit here at once or i’ll hit yer head with my mighty riffle-thingy here…
haha!

Whether it’s Teddy D. Ro or a cowboy, I get the distinct impression that he’s welcoming *you* to take a seat.
Pure Americana

That is pretty cool. Rusty corrugated metal isn’t good for much, I’m glad somebody found a creative use for it!
