Day 103
An interesting break in the terrain

I'm walking across America.
That's the idea, at least. I'm walking westward from New York City for nine months or so. If everything goes according to plan, I'll be in Oregon when the clock runs out. If nothing goes according to plan, maybe I'll end up in Peru or Mongolia or Pennsylvania. You can read all about the details of my trip if you're so inclined.

Looks like you crossed the Divide to me. You’ll find more interesting terrain similar but red in color over near Jordan, MT
wow.. the BADLANDS go on forever.. no wonder the American Indians didn’t like ’em.
But in this century we can enjoy the beauty and go.be at home.\

WOW !! That’s about all I can say is “WOW”!
I love the sage amongst the grass…. beautiful blend of nature… love those badlands.
And it is like a mother earth parfait. Nice shot….the colors are so cool as they go from sky to land to grass.

Very cool, and see, it does sort of look like the Moon! Love the little swish of clouds off to the right, too.
Looks like a very pretty and a pretty lonely stretch.
I like the solitute it communicates.
