Those clouds are amazing! In a way, it looks like the sky was superimposed over a landscape to make the scene more interesting. I know it wasn’t, though. Gorgeous picture.
By the way, check your link for “Another Lonely Cottonwood”. It comes up page not found and instead there is a link to a video on YouTube.
I had the samething happen the other night and I believe you get that video when new pictures have been loaded but aren’t all the way finished loading. Like you’ve clicked on the pic before it’s done. Hard to explain it in a post but I figured it out by the time the picture was posted and what time my computer said. Just wait a few and refresh the page. Not a problem I believe.
But Jason Eppink who runs this site for Matt can probably tell us more about it, Jason?
Not Jason..but this is part of the not finished uploading. You are right Dorinda. It is there but not completely and then you click and the link sends you on a ride down the information highway and leaves you somewhere else. Kind of cool.
Jason – is this semi-right?
Missed you all, too. I was popping in now and then to read all the comments left for Matt, but had a ton of work to do so I couldn’t stick around to play.
Looks like a photo from Windows doesn’t it? At least to me it does or something similar.
Yes, agree about the low lying sheep. Little bumps of green all over the hillside. Curious as to what they are.
Wow…if I had been there I would have run to the top of the slope just for the hell of it. Then rolled down! I bet it’s actually a huge distance to the top though, and looks like way less than it is.
This is why Montana is called the big sky country. The sky just is so blue and beautiful on a sunny day. The lumps are most likely sage brush, which doesn’t grow too tall in eastern Montana. There was most likely more rain than usual this year. I just was told about this site today. It is really neat. Hopefully we can see Matt when he goes through Oregon
That's the idea, at least. I'm walking westward from New York City for nine months or so.
If everything goes according to plan, I'll be in Oregon when the clock runs out.
If nothing goes according to plan, maybe I'll end up in Peru or Mongolia or Pennsylvania.
You can read all about the details of my trip
if you're so inclined.

Sort of looks like a lot of sleeping sheep here, if one doesn’t look to closely.
It does Karen – sheep of moss green coats :-)
agree. Welcome back Karen Too….missed ya too.
Hi Jeff, MN Roxanne.
Missed you all, too. I was popping in now and then to read all the comments left for Matt, but had a ton of work to do so I couldn’t stick around to play.
Great to see Matt back on here.

Very vice shot.
Beautiful colors – Green, Grey Green, Blue and White!
The sky looks so CLOSE! It’s so beautiful….I just stare.
I agree with the comment on the sky being super imposed by not. The colors are just unreal. Prettiest blue sky amongst those clouds.
