I am sure this looks so refreshing to you. Did you take a dip? :)

  2. Raquel says:

How Beautiful! Sure hope you took advantage of this and took a dip. Stay cool very hot weather for the next couple of days across the map.

  3. Candice in Alabama says:

Hope you can swim Matt! Water looks like it might be chilly (and rushing). I’m a lap swimmer myself at the local YMCA heated pool. This water might be even too cool for me – “Miss Hot Natured all her born days” – Candice! :)

    • Candice in Alabama says:

There’s some birds flying around out there (Flickr Zoom), plus that stick in the water looks like a Cobra about to strike!

  4. Don in Tennessee says:

    Matt

As others have said this looks inviting and redreshing especially for those feet of yours that have been taken a pounding. Hope you did at least put yoour feet in the water!

When I white water rafted the Grand Canyon the water was 58 degree. Baths were invigorating but very short!

  5. Don in Tennessee says:

spell check refreshing and your. Either I am going blind, can’t type or I am ADD. When I was a kid we did not know the term ADD or any of the other terms now used. Instead of giving you RIDILEN they just got RID OF LITEN! We were just crazy!

    • Lois says:

Don – yoour comments are always redreshing! ;o)

        Lois says-

Are you trying to be cute? Well-quess what? You are. I know I have a wraped dry sense of humor (I think I smell myself-took a bath in May-what could be wrong)?; and some people like it and some do not. I like to be able to laugh at myself (many people can’t).

I know I am an idiot sometimes; I just wish everyone could lighten up some enjoy life instead of worrying about material things.

YOU KNOW-like our Matt Hobo Green and the Matt Hobo Green Nation of tribesmen and tribeswomen enjoying the scenery and smelling the roses AHH.

Hope you have a blessed weekend!

  6. katzien in austin says:

Is this a crik or a creek?? Looks great though. I hope Matt stopped for a few and soaked his feet.

    • Don in Tennessee says:

A crik as water flowing and your neck hurts! Dual meaning-I guess that means I am bilingual, maybe? SE!

      • Craig (Yeah..in NC!) says:

        Don..
I believe that “crik” only applies to flowing streams below the mason-dixon line.

  7. Gigi says:

What a refreshing sight, the water looks so inviting. Hope you soaked your feet even for just a little bit. Take care Matt and happy walking.

  8. Jeff says:

Matt…did you build a raft for the Cart? If so you are the true Tom Sawyer. Happy dipping.
    Watch them alligator and Piranha

  9. Pacis says:

Looks like a wildlife or minature cattle crossing point. Makes me want to get my goldpan out.

Imagine the days of the Native Americans.

  10. Dennis in So Cal says:

Matt’s looking at a high temperature today of 68 degrees. Not quite swimming weather for those of us who are not Eskimos (or Elmos, or Elk-mos, or Bear-mos)…but it’s a perfect temperature for taking a long walk down a gravel road.

  11. Jim in AR via MN says:

I would imagine after miles of walking a dip in the water, no matter the temp, would be refreshing…reminds me of a long hike “up” a mountain in Rocky Mountain National Park…”up” beyond where most hikers go…high enough that we went through different weather “zones”…clouds, rain, snow, sun, humid…so we were ready for a dip in the water falls coming from melting snow hundreds of feet about us…it was luscious…and laid out on the rocks to dry off…refreshed, we hiked down…

That is how I think Matt would have felt after a dip in that stream…oh, man how great…

  12. Matt deserves some play time- hope you went for it Matt. Just taking the shoes off and splashing around a while in it would be fun and like others have said refreshing. Hope you took a dip and a splash.

  13. Craig (Yeah..in NC!) says:

I do hope you took a dip in it.. but even this time a year way up there..
    I bet it’s colder than a mother-in-law’s love.

  14. Doris says:

Skinny dipping???? Nobody would see ya out there in no man’s land. Take care Matt

  15. MN Roxanne says:

Please Matt I do hope you took a dip… your feet will thank you!

  16. Jeff says:

Dippityy do da dippity aye….my ol my what a wonderful day!!!

  17. Adis says:

It reminds me one similar looking place here in Lithuania :)

Ant it’s a mound, in my shot.

  18. Sarah says:

Maaaan that’s gorgeous, I wish I were near some streams :(

  19. Wendy R says:

Looks like a great fishing stream? Too bad you couldn’t catch your own dinner and fry it up!
