That is sad to see Don. I hope the hemlocks can develop some resistance. I haven’t been to the Smoky’s since my Mom moved in with me, over 10 years ago.
Angelica…Matt is talking about the tree staying strong against the bark beetles. They are destroying forests all over the place. This particular tree looks healthy…so Matt’s wishing it well.
That's the idea, at least. I'm walking westward from New York City for nine months or so.
If everything goes according to plan, I'll be in Oregon when the clock runs out.
If nothing goes according to plan, maybe I'll end up in Peru or Mongolia or Pennsylvania.
