That's the idea, at least. I'm walking westward from New York City for nine months or so.
If everything goes according to plan, I'll be in Oregon when the clock runs out.
If nothing goes according to plan, maybe I'll end up in Peru or Mongolia or Pennsylvania.
You can read all about the details of my trip
if you're so inclined.
This is beautiful!! I love waterfalls and cascading water.
Oh this is just beautiful. Awesome, Awesomer, the Awesomest!! Oh this makes it all worth it, the long days through the flat land of ND and eastern MT. And your phone picks up the colors for vividly! I feel like I’m there just from looking at this picture. All I need is the sound. Oh yes.
splish, splash, splish…trickkle trickle….tweet tweet……splish…..
I agree with Ms. Dorinda…..awesome, awesomer and most Awesomest picture yet….and you got to see more then one to beat. Bring em on Matt….
Matt, Great shot!
Ditto to Dorinda’s assessment…awesome…awesomer….the awesomest! I would sit in front of this for at least an hour shooting different angles, slow shutter, fast shutter….whatever. That would be the BEST!!!
Ditto.. ditto… to all – this is truly a delightful shot… bring it on – we’re ready for lots of streams… beautiful..
Oh the landscapers are taking notes…Mother Nature you rock!
Now THIS deserved a VIDEO! Okay – I’ll stop complaining…..
I agree with that one Candice, a video for sure!
What a treat for you! How many more did you see during the day Matt?
What a welcome sight, and especially after all of that burned out forest. Lovely.

Awesome picture Matt!
That is so awesome and cold – I would imagine!
Gorgeous! It looks like a picture in a calendar. Perhaps Matt should not only write a book, but make a calendar as well! We could relive his journey for another year!
Oh how beautiful! Now THIS is where I want my cabin!
