About everything and anything, I guess.

  2. Gigi says:

Their website says the motto sums it up best when it comes to customer service .. http://www.harvestfoodsnw.com/harvestfoods/company.jsp

  3. Jim in AR via MN says:

Seems appropriate for the day…wrote something today about our peripatetic engineer…and about America…and why many of the people Matt has met have “cared”… http://www.jre1.wordpress.com

It’s what is good about America…has been and still is…and the Hobo Nation is a part of that…I’m just happy to be part of it with you…

    • dwildberger@msn.com says:

      Jim,
That was a nice writeup you did. Thanks for writing about the good people in America who care and are generous. I also liked the report you did for the 4th of July. That was great reading!

    • Dorinda from Mentor, Oh. says:

That’s really nice. I like the one about the bluebirds. The “music” from all birds are the best music of all. I take it this is your own personal blog? I’m new to all this stuff so can’t tell but I’m guessing it is? Thanks for your link.

  4. Jeff says:

Nice report rover!! Matt…went to Coney Island today. Alot of walkers on the boardwalk. YOu would be proud.
Had a ice cream. looked out at the warming Atlantic..and said to my self, In a few weeks matt will complete his trip…must seem like a very long time since you touched that Sea.

  5. Candice in Alabama says:

I hope Matt’s got some cooler weather in Montana than we have in Alabama. I just went out to get the mail (7:00 PM CDT) – It felt like an oven out there!

    • Lori from Calif. says:

Guess you got all the hot weather from the San Francisco Bay Area — it’s been in the 50s in the morning, only getting up to 70 degrees during the day! We’ve all been wondering where our summer’s gone… maybe it’ll come back in September.

  6. deanna valenti meyer says:

Jim…what a great report and I really enjoyed the video as well. That was great stuff…thanks for sharing that. :)

    Matt…that slogan is definitely…uhhh…different….

  7. Roe says:

Jim, that was great, but should have a “tissue alert” with it. I had an uncle that was in the service and he had gone through there, also on his way out to war. Thanks for sharing.

  8. Don in Tennessee says:

    Jim-

Thanks for sharing. If we all get out of the “Beltway” political arena we see all kinds of neat and kind people in this country. In our county we have a FOOD CONECTION that was feeding about 1,000 people a month in 2008. It is now feeding over 6,000 per month because of the current economy. The facility used for almost 20 years was inadequate at best. A local person who owns commercial property had an empty building and gave the FOOD CONNECTION a ten year lease at $0.00. This means there is more money to use for food purchase instead of rent.

Local communitiy groups and churches do more with less than governmental agencies because of less red tape and the desire to help those less fortunate.

What a great country we live in.

    • Dorinda from Mentor, Oh. says:

      Don,
There are so many ways for all of us to serve in our communities it’s just a matter of finding something you’re passionate about.

  9. Don in Tennessee says:

    Matt
I noticed the First Security Bank sign with the ATM on it – ALL TO MATT Sign!

It was nice they put the sign up just for you. Word is spreading about Matt Hobo Green!

  10. timjeffrey says:

Have a great time hows the weather. Its 45 degrees F here , cool and windy, in melbourne . Australia.

  11. Jeff says:

Winter in Australia….Peace Tim…I am bonded to you by name only.

  12. Ian McRae says:

Underneath “We Honestly Care!” should have been another sign reading “Pinky Swear!”
