    Pepper, Pepper, Pepper, Pepper!
How much is that going to cost?

  2. jeff says:

Dr is a registered trademark of Whom? oh that is why healthcare is out of wack…..all those guys and gals have to pay a licensing fee before they even listen to your problem. Nice reflection matt……
ps…at least it is not Mountain Dew or Dr. Perky…oops trademark infringement….my bad.

  3. charlie says:

    i’m a pepper…..can’t use that anywhere else.
they call me the doctor (dr.)…..cant use that anywhere else.

  4. Michelle says:

“Wouldn’t you like to be a Pepper too..Drink Dr. Pepper!” That always tasted like a laxative. Sorry.
    Peace, from Michelle in Providence

  5. Ned in NJ says:

    who owns Clamato? blechhh

  6. MN Roxanne says:

I used to like Dr Pepper… not it’s just water thank you….

  7. Dorinda from Mentor, Oh. says:

Nice reflection there Matt. We at least get to see some kind of pic of you. So was your refreshment it just what the Dr. ordered?

  8. hks says:

so I was then wondering what if your a real doctor and your last name happen to be Pepper?

I guess if you add the period than its not a trade mark infringement …

    From the Wiki…http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dr_Pepper#Name_formatting
The period (fullstop) after “Dr” was discarded for stylistic and legibility reasons in the 1950s. Dr Pepper’s logo was redesigned and the text in this new logo was slanted. The period made “Dr.” look like “Di:”. After some debate, the period was removed for good (it had been used off and on in previous logos), as it would also help remove any medical connotation with the product.

  9. Karen Too says:

There are no periods used after “Dr,” etc. in England. Must drive their legal, and art, departments nuts. Hee hee.

Looks like Matt is wearing a hood in the reflection. Did he give up his trusty hat after we poked mock fun at it?

  10. Roe says:

Great to ‘see’ him, and the cart in such good shape after the rocky roads.

  11. deb says:

What? Looks like DR Pepper/Seven Up is getting a little too big for their britches. Let’s all drink Bud with Clamato instead!

I’m constantly amazed what tiny things catches Matt’s eye. Wonder if being on your own like he is doing makes you more attentive to detail. I would’ve walked right past that sign without even noticing. It’s a little sad when you think about all the small details that we miss every day.

I’m sooooo depressed. Someone please call DR Pepper!

  12. Angelica says:

I bet they also have a registered trademark on the individual letters in “DR” and “PEPPER.”

  13. Ron says:

Safeway supermarkets here in the west have Dr. Dynamite. (It does have a “period” in Dr.) It’s their refreshe (TM) brand. They used to have Cragmont brand and it was called The Skipper. As a kid, my mom mostly bought Cragmont soda and Skipper was one of my two favorites. (The other was black cherry.) I spotted a 24-pack in the weekly sales ad for only $3.49, so I picked up a case, including two 6-packs Black Cherry and 1 6-pack Dr. Dynamite! Dr. Dynamite actually tastes great! They’re great! (Ooops, is that line already taken? :) (Maybe even better than Dr. Pepper. I did just buy a 12-pack of the sugar DR Pepper, but haven’t tried it yet.) I think I’ll get a couple more 6-packs when I drink up the others.

  14. RG says:

No wonder healthcare is so expensive.. it’s all these soda royalty fees.
