We have a ton of these signs everywhere. It’s very interesting to read about the history of the area. We learn a lot when we go places because of these signs. :)
Agreed-I like to have signs that give me information about the history of the area and reasons for current use etc. i can’t imagine what this area looked like when Lewis and Clark came thru-it had to be challenging, exciting and frightening all put togrther.
I am going out West to see this area. Matt has given us all some beautiful photos but they never do it justice like seeing with your own 2 eyes.
That's the idea, at least. I'm walking westward from New York City for nine months or so.
If everything goes according to plan, I'll be in Oregon when the clock runs out.
If nothing goes according to plan, maybe I'll end up in Peru or Mongolia or Pennsylvania.
