aside to Jim in AR. Love reading your blogs. You picked up on Lisa’s comment past mine about Matt not being alone..and the many ways the face of god has shown up ..over and over and over again. Nice read as always. I know where to find you when this is over…I wonder what wisdom you will reflect on them. I anxiously await that one too. Will you give out tissues to all of us who might read???
Very pretty. Supposeedly, you can dig up and crush a Wild Carrot root and you will find that it smells just like a carrot. But, then you couldn’t enjoy the blooms. :0]
My sister and I when we were little would pick these “weeds” to take home and place in vases of colored water to see them the next morning turn into different colors…but watch out for the little red bugs that sometimes live in the centers of the lacy blooms…chiggers are not a great thing to catch from these weeds. Itchy little buggers!!
That's the idea, at least. I'm walking westward from New York City for nine months or so.
If everything goes according to plan, I'll be in Oregon when the clock runs out.
If nothing goes according to plan, maybe I'll end up in Peru or Mongolia or Pennsylvania.
You can read all about the details of my trip
if you're so inclined.
Great picture! (And I’m first!) Amazing all the things you notice when you are walking.
Somehow you make that weed look beautiful. At least that’s what I’ve always thought of them as, weeds.
It does look just like a snowflake…. it’s beautiful Matt and you framed it lovely in this photo.
Absolutely beautiful photo!
Love it! Thanks Matt!
One of my favorite “weeds”, have it planted in my back garden.
Nice shot master photagrapher hobo matt
It does look like a snowflake, but definitely a beautiful weed….
No two alike…

Hi Jeff,
I don’t read the posts under every picture – and now am curious as to where I can find this blog – do share?!
Click on the link embedded in Jim’s name: Jim in AR via MN or here it is: http://jre1.wordpress.com/
I agree he has a beautiful blog. I’ve already bookmarked it.
Beautiful – but alas, 2 sides to many for a true snowflake! :)
You know – this makes me think of the concept of fractals.
Matt
You are a HOBO and not English Royalty. Keep moving and leave Queen Anne and her lace alone!
Now THAT was funny!!!!!!!! ha ha ha ha ha!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This ranks as one of my favorite of your pics, Matt! Beautiful composition. I’d love to frame it and hang it on one of my walls!

Stunning. Has to be one of my favorite flower pictures, though it is difficult to choose as all of them have been gorgeous.
It’s now one of my faves too! I love the tiny little details and it really does look like a snowflake. And we don’t see much snow in Texas. ;-)
