The perfect getaway

I'm walking across America.
That's the idea, at least. I'm walking westward from New York City for nine months or so. If everything goes according to plan, I'll be in Oregon when the clock runs out. If nothing goes according to plan, maybe I'll end up in Peru or Mongolia or Pennsylvania. You can read all about the details of my trip if you're so inclined.

I looked at the sign rather quickly (more noticing the internet pets line) and thought it said “Lepers Motel”. I tilted my head in thought for a second, then re-read the sign. “Ahhhh….pronoun trouble.”
I thought it said “internet PITS”!

So is this where you’ll be spending your weekend? With your internet pet? At the bottom it says they have a spa and sauna. Nice and relaxing after a long day of walking. And the fencing, is it to keep the animals in or out?
Dorinda- you are reading my mind! I saw that HIGH fence and I thought “is that to keep the internet PETS” inside! :) Better to keep the unwanted animals OUTSIDE, I imagine!
Wow – there’s barbed wire at the top of that fence!
I think the fence is to keep out the Leepers.
I hope they check the internet pets for viruses though.

I boycott motels that don’t accept internet pets, just on principal.
