Glad to see that you’re doing well, and wonderful people are watching over you. Keep safe, and we’ll keep enjoying the trip through your pictures.

  2. Elizabeth in Sac says:

Beautiful clear water — wonder if the Susquehanna downstream has been cleaned up? Sure hope so. Stay safe, Matt — and keep the journal coming. Love it!

  3. Bill Leslie says:

Great photography, Matt. Some of my friends are following you and wondering how you’re getting the pictures and stories online. What type of device are you using?

    • Matt Green says:

Hey Uncle Bill! I’m using a Motorola Droid. The camera on it is great during the day, but pretty worthless in low light. And when I get out of cell range for a while out west, I won’t be able to post anything.

I know you’re really far away from this tributary of the Susquehenna by now, but I thought I’d let you know that the house I grew up in is next to the very start of the Susquehenna, Little Unadilla Lake in Miller’s Mills, New York. Here’s a picture my brother took of the pond during our annual Ice Harvest: http://sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/photos-ak-snc1/v2335/225/85/611895639/n611895639_5847918_9951.jpg
