Wooow. Stunning and awesome, even awesomer than some of the other cloud shots. Makes me dizzy looking at it. Almost looks extra terrestrial! Oooohhhhh.
Yes I agree stunning. and the clouds look like those 3d pictures you had to stare at for a long while to see what was realy in the picture….and then the contrast of the land below…..What world have you discovered………Earth to Matt…are you out there
That's the idea, at least. I'm walking westward from New York City for nine months or so.
If everything goes according to plan, I'll be in Oregon when the clock runs out.
If nothing goes according to plan, maybe I'll end up in Peru or Mongolia or Pennsylvania.
You can read all about the details of my trip
if you're so inclined.

A staggering shot. Those clouds make everything look so small, and insignificant.
I like the muted light on the landscape. It makes you stare.
Coool! the sky looks like CGI hehe!
I feel like I’m looking at an “I-spy” picture…where if I stare hard enough into the clouds, I will see something….look, a boat!
My friend, who grew up in the midwest, called this a “buttermilk sky”!! I guess it is the “chunky” look of the clouds?
Beautiful …
I would totally print this picture for display. Amazing! Your journey’s been amazing to follow.
In Australia we call this a Mackrel Sky, I guess because in a way it looks like fish scales.
