Yea, Pepsi! Nice and cold…got the dollar from Morley still??
we got soda, gas, News paper..I see a RV you could probably rest in if you asked….Nice wheels too…maybe you could hitch a ……oh I won’t say it. Timberlands are doing just fine……..onward..Buzz lighyear of walking.
Well look around you, how many people do you think take the bus? Kind of far from a NYC bus station isn’t it? Reminds me of Mayberry RFD. Tiny little town with old fashioned ways. I bet the garage door over there is their car repair shop. Full service stations are a thing of the past and looks like you’ve walked back in time. How cool is that?.
And on the extreme left an artifact from the last century…a phone booth. Remember how tough it was walking around all day with one of those stuck to your head?
Awesome old gas station! Im going to replicate it for my model railroad. I follow your journey daily online , I hope to someday take a similar journey.
That's the idea, at least. I'm walking westward from New York City for nine months or so.
If everything goes according to plan, I'll be in Oregon when the clock runs out.
If nothing goes according to plan, maybe I'll end up in Peru or Mongolia or Pennsylvania.
You can read all about the details of my trip
if you're so inclined.
Now that is just the cutest place ever.

If I were Matt, and going to give into temptation, I’d hop on that Harley.

no wonder Superman is having trouble changing to his costume since these phone booths are getting extinct :P
We now sell off-sale? What does that mean? Does that old gas pump still work? Is that an Easter Lily? I like this. Did you go inside?
That means they sell liquor Candice…. like a 6 pack to go…

I think you should, Kevin! This place rocks!
This looks like the kind of place those 2 guys from American Pickers would like to visit. I know they’d try to buy the phone booth.
And the year-round Christmas lights are cute!
I want to see the place lit up with those christmas lights!
I see the theft of drain pipes is a growing problem that only a strong chain can solve.
