I'm walking across America.
That's the idea, at least. I'm walking westward from New York City for nine months or so.
If everything goes according to plan, I'll be in Oregon when the clock runs out.
If nothing goes according to plan, maybe I'll end up in Peru or Mongolia or Pennsylvania.

Here's my progress so far:
Interesting. Didn’t know Montana was so full of fossils.
Same little rest area we stopped at on our Harley a few years ago. I made a previous post about the info on this sign. Glad you’re back, Matt! When you get closer to Lewistown, the scenery changes. That’s a pretty little town, & bet you will make lots of new friends there.
Take THAT, Texas! Montana is better’n YOU…
At least as far as fossils maybe – sorry – former Texan here! :)
While there are many Dino fossils in Montana, the Big Bend area of Texas also has amazing collections of Dino fossils too. Including large numbers of Pterodactyls. Just sayin’
Yea Dorinda – Montana is like Dino captal of the world. It is so wonderful to read about what was. Montana subtropical and attached to a sea and coastline…..What a wonderful world…..thanks for the info and sign shot.
That’s why there were palm trees in the outdoor museum.
Funny, Matt.
This is DINO-MITE! Yabba-Dabba-Doo! – Matt, did you get to see Fred, Wilma, Pebbles or Dino this time?
we have the highest concentration of discovered fossils on land
I love the “30 some Tyrranosaurs.” Like they couldn’t take the time to research how many, so they guesstimated. Ba ha ha ha! Still, I agree it’s pretty cool.
P.S. – if you got it, flaunt it!
That is what Matt is doing with his Timberland’s. Keep on trucking brother.
That sign just learned me something.
