  5. Don in Tennessee says:

OK this is twin lakes so the 4 trees must be QUADRUPLETS.

    Matt

Another great shot and again every photo gets better and is a masterpiece – http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B_jeyfijack

  6. Lori says:

There must be “Twin Lakes” in every NW state: Twin Lakes, MT… Twin Lakes, ID… Twin Lakes, WA… any others out there!

    • Patty says:

Twin Lakes, Minnesota – about 100 miles south of the “Twin Cities” of Minneapolis and St. Paul : )

    • Steve in WI says:

There is also a Twin Lakes in WI. Matt walked about 30 miles away from it when he was comming out of IL into WI.

  7. MN Roxanne says:

I love seeing the sparkly sun on the water… gorgeous!

  8. I love this shot, just gorgeous. Beautiful water, sky, scenery. This is what the locals have been so excited about for us here in the “nation” to see. Thanks Matt for another awesome shot.

  9. Candice in Alabama says:

Loving the sun sparkling on the water – beautiful!

  10. Gigi says:

    Awesome!

  11. Karen Too says:

Those colors, the light in the leaves; stunning.

  12. John in MI says:

So these places really do exist. I always wondered where they filmed all those camping and RV commercials.

    • Barb V from Michigan says:

Reminds me of a scene from RV: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1du1SmmWsKM

I imagine Matt having the same kind of experience with his jogging-cart-turned-supply-cart. Stay safe, Matt, and whatever you do, don’t hang onto the plunger handle in front!

      • Suzanne says:

Thanks Barb!!! That is my favorite part of the movie. My kids and I laugh so hard every time we watch it. Of course I think Matt has it a little more pulled together for being in the wild forest than Robin Williams did. Enjoy the beautiful scenery Matt and keep sending us the gorgeous pics.

    • Lori says:

Yes, John, they do exist, and these places are why we refer to the NW and Inland NW as “God’s Country”. :-)

  13. Barb V from Michigan says:

I knew this part of your trip was going to give us some of the most beautiful pictures posted so far. How many times can I say “breathtaking”?

  14. Vivian in CA says:

What a gorgeous day! This must make your soul so very happy :)
