This model of 7-20 Point Crescent, one of the many mansions ornamenting the streets of Malba, stands outside the gated property. How close of a match is it to the real thing?

This is awesome
Is this an awesome mailbox?
I thought so at first, but it doesn’t look like there’s any place for the mail to go. So I guess it’s just an awesome miniature house on a pole!
Malba is one of those far-reaching neighborhoods in Queens (nearby Whitestone) that I happened upon one day a few summers back on my bike, and it is quite exquisite with its mansions and beautiful views of Powell Cove, which also has a terrific forested park with a hiking path and another smaller hidden park with a stone-tiled sun dial. I have rode my bike also along the residential roads around there all the way from the Whitestone Bridge up to the Throg’s Neck Bridge, to Fort Totten and then to Alley Pond Park Environmental Center. Thrilling, beautiful, magical and spiritual journey.
