I'm walking every street in New York City.
This is the counterpoint to my walk across the US. Instead of seeing a million places for just a minute each, I'm going to spend a million minutes exploring just one place. By the time I finish walking every block of every street in all five boroughs, I'll have traveled more than 8,000 miles on foot — all within a single city. Details!

Ha, this building (green roof) used to be a factory. Now it’s a coop building. And I rent a place there :) The view is even better. The actual Hell’s gate ark is to the left.
That building (with the green roof) looks a lot like the building my cousin lives in. If it is, Andy is right…it’s got an AMAZING view! :)

Now, I think I’m missing something…maybe that “city” sights are not my favorite…but this being “an amazing view”…would be (in my view now) a stretch…
I can see the Greek Orthodox church (bright blue near the Hellgate). I live right by it! Hope to see you when you make it through Astoria again!! Very excited about your new adventure!!
