Today’s metal prices

I'm walking every street in New York City.
This is the counterpoint to my walk across the US. Instead of seeing a million places for just a minute each, I'm going to spend a million minutes exploring just one place. By the time I finish walking every block of every street in all five boroughs, I'll have traveled more than 8,000 miles on foot — all within a single city. Details!

That’s fairly interesting that they post those prices.
But why are the arrows pointing down? Is that indicating the prices are falling?

I sold scrap there…….. these arrows indicating $3.00 or lower.
Unlike the normal retail business. recycling operates the opposite.
so, for example, when you see T-shirt is on sale, $19.99 and up……… meaning the lowest is $19.99, but might be higher
in recycling, $3.00 and down, meaning max price for best grade is $3.00 and it gets lower as price goes down
