This Manneken Pis replica reminds me of a toy given to me and my brother by our grandfather — a plastic figurine of a boy who would urinate when you pulled his pants down. My mother confiscated this toy under cover of night and, to this day, still will not reveal its whereabouts.
i own this toy. it was given to me as a present a few years ago as a thank for you show i was in. the finder found a whole slew of them at Materials for the Arts. When you stay with us, you can revel in refound childhood glee! It’s called ‘Weepy the Wee Wee”
maybe that’s why
you’re walkin’
By the looks of that yellow “water” there I’d say he works.
Hahahaha!! When we were in Belgium this past Autumn, we went to the Manneken Pis Museum (though we chose not to go see the actual statue). There are hundreds upon hundreds of outfits for him that the people of Brussels change all the time. It was definitely interesting. :)
