I'm walking every street in New York City.
This is the counterpoint to
my walk across the US. Instead of seeing a million places for just a minute each, I'm going to spend a million minutes exploring just one place. By the time I finish walking every block of every street in all five boroughs, I'll have traveled more than 8,000 miles on foot — all within a single city.

Your donations allow me to keep walking full-time. If you think what I'm doing is valuable and you'd like to offer some support, I would be very grateful. On the other hand, if you think I'm a worthless bum, feel free to email me and tell me to get a job, bozo. Both are excellent options!
Looks like “him walk in the cross walk” is a better street name…but today was a great day or a rod ride..even top down. God I love our city. And hay over to the left and up is the subway…kind of sort of.

Himrod…Hernot.
Himrod was a pioneer of the iron industry in Erie, PA. he founded a Sunday School for African Americans and the destitute. He operated the school, which came to be known as the Himrod Mission, for nearly twenty years despite how it directly conflicted with the Fugitive Slave Act of 1793. Himrod was also involved in the Underground Railroad. The school was still in operation under his name in the mid-1880s. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/William_Himrod
Looks like Himrod is doing big business selling second hands. ;-)
Thanks for the link, Alisa11.
There is a Himrod, NY near Penn Yan on Keuka Lake, about 65 miles from me. :)
