I'm walking every street in New York City.
This is the counterpoint to my walk across the US. Instead of seeing a million places for just a minute each, I'm going to spend a million minutes exploring just one place. By the time I finish walking every block of every street in all five boroughs, I'll have traveled more than 8,000 miles on foot — all within a single city. Details!

I love this picture. I was taking some like this myself here in WV the day before. I’m so glad that after a long time of not checking into your blog (since your US trip ended) that while I was laid up in bed with a cold I decided to check back in and look at some of the beautiful pictures. Your website name was so easy to remember. I came here on Day 6 of your NYC trip. Which is great because now I can follow along here nearly from the beginning! It’s a bit harder to believe that you’ll actually accomplish this mission because since it’s so local it would be easy to just forget about it and take breaks often. I don’t know what you’re getting out of doing this but it’s a great thing and thank you for making a blog of your endeavors with such beauty, truth, wit and integrity and for keeping it so advertisement free. Thank you. Love to you.
