I'm walking every street in New York City.
This is the counterpoint to
my walk across the US. Instead of seeing a million places for just a minute each, I'm going to spend a million minutes exploring just one place. By the time I finish walking every block of every street in all five boroughs, I'll have traveled more than 8,000 miles on foot — all within a single city.

Your donations allow me to keep walking full-time. If you think what I'm doing is valuable and you'd like to offer some support, I would be very grateful. On the other hand, if you think I'm a worthless bum, feel free to email me and tell me to get a job, bozo. Both are excellent options!
That’s a beautiful view of the UN Bldg, the Empire State Bldg and midtown Manhattan .. but it’s cold out there Matt, hope you’re keeping warm!
I was wondering if that was the Empire State building. Thanks Gigi for helping me to know that.
Hey Matt, if you could point out some of the buildings in your shots of the city for this Midwest girl that would be great. I’m just not a city gal at all. Thanks.
Which building is the UN building and what is the low-rising white structure with a half dome in the middle of it?
Really cool shot. I love all the shadows and lines. The city scape in the background. It’s an awesome shot Matt. Thanks.
I agree – love the shadows.
yes great exercise in one point perspective
Clean, pristine…wouldn’t you say???…
