Yard space is a precious commodity in New York

I'm walking every street in New York City.
This is the counterpoint to my walk across the US. Instead of seeing a million places for just a minute each, I'm going to spend a million minutes exploring just one place. By the time I finish walking every block of every street in all five boroughs, I'll have traveled more than 8,000 miles on foot — all within a single city. Details!

Looks like your trip is starting well. I do wonder as NY doesn’t seam like an extremely friendly place how you are doing of the friend search? One of the things I found I loved best in your first walk was what wonderful, giving and generous people you met along the way. I see in this world so many who are to busy or selfish to hold a hand of friendship to strangers. Your trip gave me hope that I was more wrong than right about how many truly good people there are out there. It must be cold there so hope u are keeping warm at night. Love the patio but what’s with the too small donkey in the middle?
SO instead of grass they use pavers. And a donkey…
Are these Donkey statues more common in our parts out East here?

No tree to fall on house….check
