I'm walking every street in New York City.
This is the counterpoint to
my walk across the US. Instead of seeing a million places for just a minute each, I'm going to spend a million minutes exploring just one place. By the time I finish walking every block of every street in all five boroughs, I'll have traveled more than 8,000 miles on foot — all within a single city.

Your donations allow me to keep walking full-time. If you think what I'm doing is valuable and you'd like to offer some support, I would be very grateful. On the other hand, if you think I'm a worthless bum, feel free to email me and tell me to get a job, bozo. Both are excellent options!
I think this could be your slogan, Matt.
It should read:
“Exercise your brain. Read a book.”
Yeah that’s what I thought.
Walking is known to increase production of brain cells and stimulate brain function by increasing blood flow to the brain..Einstein solved problems while walking.
Flex the brain Matt….lets see how them walks are treaten it.
I do wonder how much damage walking two years in a busy city will cause…the air pollutants at ground level are known to cause asthma, bronchitis, emphysema, or cardiopulmonary maladies. You probably need a mask. I was walking for about a mile along a busy street yesterday and couldn’t wait to get off the main road and away from the car smell…I wrapped my wooly buff around my nose and mouth but doubt it helps much.
I have found the earlier you walk the better the air quality. But in the case of Matt…the city never sleeps ..so TNA is right….best to walk around like a doctor.
Charging everyone outrageous prices?
