I'm walking every street in New York City.
This is the counterpoint to
my walk across the US. Instead of seeing a million places for just a minute each, I'm going to spend a million minutes exploring just one place. By the time I finish walking every block of every street in all five boroughs, I'll have traveled more than 8,000 miles on foot — all within a single city.

Your donations allow me to keep walking full-time. If you think what I'm doing is valuable and you'd like to offer some support, I would be very grateful. On the other hand, if you think I'm a worthless bum, feel free to email me and tell me to get a job, bozo. Both are excellent options!
Well, at least they don’t have to change them until 2026. I understand trying to eliminate graffiti, but punks will find another way. This solves nothing and causes more problems for business owners. Way to go politicians! You suck!
Exactly. “I see therefore I want so I will bust open the window the get”. That to me is what will happen with getting rid of the solid doors. To me it will bring more violence in crimes because “people” will be able to see inside and have easier access. The city sees it as a “solution” to graffiti, which you won’t stop anyway, but it adds another element of looting the way I see it. Granted, it would be prettier without all those solid doors but can you trust “people” enough to not break in and steal what’s inside?
